The Miracle of Kindness Changing the world one act at a time by James R. Kok, author of 90% of Helping Is Just Showing Up! Followers of Jesus, commonly called Christians, have a very specific responsibility seven days a week. In every aspect of our lives we are expected to be helping answer Jesus' prayer that His will be done here on earth. Our work is a contribution to making this world a better place.

So we have these four strategic tools that will change your life—the serious ambassador of goodwill needs each of them. They will turn the average pleasant person into an effective helper of others: "Showing Up", coming to the person with concern in your heart; Doling out our experiences cautiously and tentatively, the courtesy of respecting another's need to talk; the risky venture we call "Naming the elephant" that can open doors into the depths of another's heart in surprising way; and Prayer, that indispensable ingredient that changes things so positively by connecting to God. The Miracle of Kindness will change you for the better as soon as you read chapter one. The change will be easy, gentle, natural and beneficial to everyone you meet.
